Right now, I’m loving my Mr. Coffee mug warmer. I tend to sip coffee slowly, over the course of an hour sometimes, and this little gadget helps me to keep my coffee warm and at a drinkable temperature. This mug warmer is a godsend for over-air-conditioned offices in the summertime, and for chilly winter nights.
It doesn’t warm the coffee up to any hotter than it originally was, but it does a great job of maintaining the temperature if you use it as soon as you pour your cup of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa I’ve also noticed that it heats the liquid all the way through, which is amazing for such a little gadget that only makes contact with the mug at the bottom.
The Mr. Coffee mug warmer can fit regular and large / oversized coffee mugs. Operation of the coffee cup warmer is pretty simple. Just slide the on and off switch, and put your mug down on the warming plate. It doesn’t have automatic shutoff, so you’ve gotta remember if you leave a mug on it. I wish the plug was a little longer, but I guess they figure you’re only using this on a desktop or tabletop, so you don’t need it to extend across the room or anything. Anyway, at around $10, it’s a great little buy that can make your quality of life, or at least your workday morning, a little better.
